Please please PLEASE keep in mind everyone worried about this. Republicans and Democrats alike have to work together the keep our USPS whole.
USPS profited 200 million in Q1 USPS leadership is fudging the numbers there was no payment for prefund retirement it was postponed by Congress 12-19-11 for 8 months but it’s accounted for in Q1 as 3.1b loss!

Say what you will about it, but UPS and FedEx couldn’t get a letter from coast to coast for the price of a stamp.
The U.S. Postal Service is the only carrier that delivers on Saturday for free. With UPS and the others, delivering a single page letter on a Saturday would cost you at least $25 OVER the at least $5-$8 you’d be paying for shipping already.
