    In a nutshell: The problem about you understanding this or not is probably more on you than on them. Sometimes one just wasn’t born to do or understand certain things. Deal with it.

    And I have taken AI classes and I have studied and read books on the subject after taking those classes.

    These videos were a disappointment to me, get over it.

    These lessons were really helpful for me, since they explain things really well. If you think otherwise, I invite you to hit a few AI classes from a regular University and have the old Pascal-era farts explaining complex stuff which they don’t even like while they try to understand object orientation themselves.

    Also A* can be argued as the KNOWN most efficient path finding algorithm, it does not imply THE most efficient algorithm. To claim that you must have a proof.

    How does being an expert with physical simulation imply knowledge of path finding?

    I’ve been working in the industry for the past 6 years.
    I have done neural networks in my home projects running on PIC32. My experience is Web development, Embedded, Windows, Mac OS, Computer Graphics, Physical Simulations.

    I would like to focus on AI and these lectures did not teach me, only exposed what I need to learn, do you understand the difference?

    Sorry we’re not all like you living with your mommy.

    This course is for people who are very, VERY familiar with the World of computing (as in: they live, or are planning to live from it, and have coursed it to some extent at University). If you’re in your first of second grade of computer engineering, or if you’ve never studied any computer science at all, you should stick to Lego robots.

    Andrian, I understand your frustration, I am too frustrated. The lectures r too hard for me too; nevertheless I thank Mr. Thrun for taking time off his schedule to make these lectures. Although hard to understand they have provide me with the basics to self-teach myself. I bought his book & will use the course structure & lectures as my guide to self-teach myself at my own pace. I would recommend others who r having a hard time with this course/lectures & r interested in AI to do the same.

    You keep saying we learned, as if you taught.

    At the very least do ONE example.

    Ever notice how many people say they had to watch the video 2, 3, 4 times to get it. Do you honestly believe that with ONE data point anyone can really get it?
