yeahh!!! we are anonymous! >.<, education!! yeah

  2. AndrianGA says:

“Basis on why I act like I’m 15, please?”
    Exhibit A: “Nigga, please.”

The experience I list is a direct reply to your childish assumption:
“This course is for people who are very, VERY familiar with the World of computing [...]. If you’re in your first of second grade of computer engineering, or if you’ve never studied any computer science at all, you should stick to Lego robots.”

” The problem about you understanding this or not”
Did I say the problem is about understanding?

  3. Owneador1337 says:

Basis on why I act like I’m 15, please? Which of the things that I said could be put on a 15-year-old’s mouth? Nigga, please.

You did brag about “not living with mommy” and “working in the industry for 6 years”, so WTF.

In a nutshell: The problem about you understanding this or not is probably more on you than on them. Sometimes one just wasn’t born to do or understand certain things. Deal with it.

  4. AndrianGA says:

=because you totally didn’t brag about what an old fart you are.=

This just does not make sense.

Are you jealous that I’m older?! How is being older bragging? What? o_O

    And you’re trying to make a case that this isn’t a teenager’s drama/nonsense behavior.

  5. AndrianGA says:

You act like 15. That is not my fault, what’s your point?

And I have taken AI classes and I have studied and read books on the subject after taking those classes.

These videos were a disappointment to me, get over it.

  6. Owneador1337 says:

Yes, because you totally didn’t brag about what an old fart you are.

    I’m 23, not 15. Get over it.

These lessons were really helpful for me, since they explain things really well. If you think otherwise, I invite you to hit a few AI classes from a regular University and have the old Pascal-era farts explaining complex stuff which they don’t even like while they try to understand object orientation themselves.

  7. AndrianGA says:

ok, mr psychoanalyst/Eistein I’ll make sure to like what you like.
    Your opinion is my command.

And obviously you missed my original point and made a bunch of juvenile assumptions.

  8. Owneador1337 says:

Whatever. These lessons are mint. If you want to get food (or knowledge) chewn for you, you’re not fit to be a computer scientist.

  9. AndrianGA says:

Also A* can be argued as the KNOWN most efficient path finding algorithm, it does not imply THE most efficient algorithm. To claim that you must have a proof.

  10. AndrianGA says:

Knowledge of physical simulations doesn’t imply knowledge of computer graphics either.

  11. AndrianGA says:

Sure only if you tell me what does physical simulation have to do with path finding?

How does being an expert with physical simulation imply knowledge of path finding?

  12. Owneador1337 says:

You’re the expert in Physical Simulations. You tell me if you use the most reliable path-finding algorithm or not. I’m not into that.

  13. AndrianGA says:

Right, because we all use A* every day. Your experience shines through.

Good luck in the real world.

  14. Owneador1337 says:

If you need help with A* after 6 years of working in the industry, you’re probably the janitor, anyway.

  15. AndrianGA says:

I’ve been working in the industry for the past 6 years.
I have done neural networks in my home projects running on PIC32. My experience is Web development, Embedded, Windows, Mac OS, Computer Graphics, Physical Simulations.

I would like to focus on AI and these lectures did not teach me, only exposed what I need to learn, do you understand the difference?

Sorry we’re not all like you living with your mommy.

  16. Owneador1337 says:

Well, for me, as exams draw near, these lectures are pretty God damn awesome. They help me fill in the gaps left over by my own teachers.

This course is for people who are very, VERY familiar with the World of computing (as in: they live, or are planning to live from it, and have coursed it to some extent at University). If you’re in your first of second grade of computer engineering, or if you’ve never studied any computer science at all, you should stick to Lego robots.

  17. diamozuni says:

Andrian, I understand your frustration, I am too frustrated. The lectures r too hard for me too; nevertheless I thank Mr. Thrun for taking time off his schedule to make these lectures. Although hard to understand they have provide me with the basics to self-teach myself. I bought his book & will use the course structure & lectures as my guide to self-teach myself at my own pace. I would recommend others who r having a hard time with this course/lectures & r interested in AI to do the same.

  18. AndrianGA says:

“I hope the quiz won’t discourage you”
    Well, it did, thank you.

You keep saying we learned, as if you taught.

At the very least do ONE example.

Ever notice how many people say they had to watch the video 2, 3, 4 times to get it. Do you honestly believe that with ONE data point anyone can really get it?

  19. ciphernemo says:

Excellent video to kick off the 2nd week in our AI class! And certainly an improvement over last week. Thank you. :-)
