Motley Crue – Wild Side (Cruefest 1 Toronto)

Crüe Fest was a summer 2008 tour by Mötley Crüe, which commenced on July 1, 2008 and concluded on August 31, 2008. It featured Mötley Crüe themselves, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Trapt, and Sixx:AM. During the press conference announcing the tour, Nikki Sixx said that there were currently no definitive plans to tour Europe, however, it is likely that there will be some form of tour at a later date.[1] Crüe Fest is said to be “The Loudest Show on Earth”. The tour earned around million and was the most successful and most popular festival of the summer. The tour was first formulated in January 2008 by Nikki Sixx. Shortly afterwards, the idea was established to do a tour with both bands Sixx is currently a member of (Mötley Crüe and Sixx:AM). The idea of Crüe Fest was then created, with Mötley Crüe’s intention of bringing a new touring festival of ‘bands that embody the spirit of rock and roll’[1] in the same vein as Ozzfest. The new official Mötley Crüe website ([1]) had promised a special announcement on April 15, 2008. Mötley Crüe hosted a press conference, where the intentions of the Crüe Fest tour were announced and the band premiered their “Saints of Los Angeles” video, as well as performing “Kickstart My Heart” and “Saints of Los Angeles”.

Tommy Lee kicked some serious ass on this song his timing has to be the best than everyone else!!!

  13. 11M11B11 says:

Vince sounds like shit! Slurring his words all over the place. Fucking great showman though.

  14. MangoHombre says:

Mick has to be one of the most under rated musicians of all time. His live stuff hits all the notes that were laid down in the studio. No flash. Nothing wasted. Just a professional through and through.

  15. NukeCulear says:

Vince to call it quits. He can’t sing, and he’s fat & tired.

  16. 13joeyjordison says:

which would u rather do listen to tommy lee’s rap album or listen to vince sing live for 24 hours

  17. mikecohn4000 says:

the crue’s backup vocals live are identical to the studio version’s! kick ass. motley crue is my religion, and nikki and tommy are my priests!

  18. theblackwell100 says:

@14ax2 To be fair, Nikki wrote 90% of those riffs, but he’s still underrated.

  19. Tristan729 says:

Is it just me or is he like mumbling the words the whole time because he has forgotten how his own song go’s??? This just ruined the entire Crüe fest!!!

  20. TheSickness14 says:

@14ax2 You can have an Underrated?

  21. boki77 says:

people,if there is anybody among you,who knows Vince personally, could you, please, ask him to listen this recordings of the live gigs, and the way he sings.and if he says, that its ok,and nothin should be changed on it,i rest my case.his vocal is just horrible live, and in studio is easy with pro tools

  22. RockNRollJunkieMex says:

Geez! the intro blows away my mind! this is what I call rock n’ roll.

  23. avahurley says:

@14ax2 youre right he is underrated. But I i think nikki did this intro/main riff. but his still underrated like u said

  24. Optio10 says:

Mick Mars = God. So underated!

  25. legenddaryslash says:
