Hello, Thanks for informing me about the option of general delivery. I wish to make an online purchase off an overseas website. Assuming what I’m buying is packaged well enough, and it passes through US customs, Would it be possible for me to pick up this package at my local post office. I’m under 18, but I can positively identify myself with a high school ID, and still be able to pick up my package without parent/ guardian? Thanks I Subbed.

Thanks for the great tip! I will try to incorporate this info into a future video. Maybe we’ll go interview some people at a UPS store. :)

I have travelled a lot in recent years and what has worked very well for me is the following:
    1. Get a PMB (private mailbox) in your hometown, strictly from the UPS store (over the phone is OK).
    2. All shipments from all carriers get delivered there as your central hub.
    3. The UPS store will forward your mail anywhere in the world with a tracking number.
    4. And, even if someone ships using DHL, FEDEX or UPS….the ups store can forward it to you via USPS and priority mail – anywhere in the worl

I haven’t tried it. I’m not sure how well mail forwarding would work for us since we rarely stay in one place for very long. But if we were camping in one location for an extended period of time, that would make sense.

My wife and I are considering the RV lifestyle. With respect to mail, have you ever tried: Escapees mail forwarding service?

    Thanks!
