The purpose of the USPS is to collect and handle mail. The job of the carrier is to deliver. For about 151 years that was what the Postal Service was about. Today all the Service is concerned about is scan points.

I’m a small town Postmaster under a discontinuance study. I was a City Carrier for 15 years. Had to 204-B too.
This is the funniest and most true thing ever. Absolutely Hilarious. Oh….Being a 204-B was pure hell. Long Story…

If you’re a postal worker, I dare you to watch this and not laugh your ass off. I’ve got 31 years in, and could write a book about the place, but it would probably wind up on the Fiction shelf. People just don’t believe the asinine crap we have to put up with on a daily basis. Thank you….you’ve made my day, and I’m going to give my co-workers a heads up on these videos. Good job.

This is great! I’m on 21 years + 4 years buying back from military time – I feel like I’ll have to work another 20 the way things change every year. I’ll probably die on the street, satchel on my shoulder, scanner in hand. Some kind of cancer from the scanner

@deeg950 Thanks for watching. I made 8 of these. Just one about carriers. The last one I made : Hitler Goes Postal 8 The Battle of Monmouth is my last one. I workded at the Monmouth P & DC for the last 3 years, before that I worked in an AO. I retired on Dec 3. I had a lot of fun making them. Thanks again.

No one who hasn’t worked in the post office can understand the insanity we live with each day, trying to do our jobs regardless of all this extreme BS. And it’s only getting worse. Hilarious! I was a USPS employee for over 30 years, 28 of them as a carrier. I had many of these very thoughts (i.e. “I can’t last five more years!”). Early retirement was an answered prayer in 2008. The actual experience of working for the USPS is fatiguing, dehumanizing, demoralizing, and depressing. No one who hasn’t worked there can fully understand how it eats up your whole life and spits you out like a wad of used tobacco. We must remind ourselves that we must laugh!
