    Hello Wendy.

Oops, I posted this a second ago on the wrong video (your bow video).

I realize that this video is a couple of years old now, but I would like to make this box for my daughter’s wedding. I went to Paper Source website since you said that that is where you bought the box. The largest that they have is only 7″ d x 7″ h. The one that you are using in video appears to be larger than that. Do you know the measurements of it? Thanks so much!

This video is exactly what I was looking for. Would I have to change any of the techniques if I’m using fabric instead of paper?

Great idea. Super explanation. I love the box, I love how nicely you explained each step. I assume covering the box itself is going to require a similar, cutting the edges, technique? Thank you! I am in charge of making one for my girlfriends wedding and since she is extra special, I want everything, including the cards box :) , to be just as perfect as possible on her great day. Thanks again!

Hi everyone! This is Wendy Dahl! (I’ve changed my company name to Chic Productions since I created this video.) Anyway, all of the resources I used for this card box were from Paper Source. They do have an online website and stores throughout the country. The pink paper is just wrapping paper. The box has been discontinued at paper source :( If you search for “Paper Mache Boxes” you should be able to find some. Good luck!

I would really like to know what kind of paper that is or where you can find it.

I found boxes at hobby lobby for $6 and $4.50. I have a large one and then a medium one to go on top. I am painting the bottom box black and with a white ribbon around it and the top box is going to be white with a black ribbon around it. Total for everything it cost me $16 to make!

    is that just wrapping paper?

if you would like to create it yourself. go to ross or tjmaxx. they sell these boxes super cheap and different sizes. I am doing it for my own wedding. it will totally cost u $20 to make, instead of $85-$125 online. but already made, go to etsy.com and search

I love this idea and I would LOVE to make one for my wedding! BUT, I have looked EVERYWHERE and just can’t seem to find it!! I see the comment below has the same problem! Could you please tell us where to purchase this box? Much thanks!

I am determined to make this box for my daughter’s wedding, however, I have looked and high and low and cannot, for the life of me, find a box this large. I am guessing that with lid, we would need approx 15″ tall or more for cards to fit in. Yes?? Please tell us where to buy such a box. Thanks much! You are a very good teacher. I appreciate very much how detailed you are and how much time you take.
