@happyguy215 Yes. As long as the recipient has text messaging on their plan then everything should be fine.

  2. TechTubeMedia says:

@happyguy215 Yea, pretty sure. The only thing you should note is that if the recipient pays for incoming texts, those charges will still apply, however, when you send the text through the method above, you’re fine :)

@moocow97 if you send a text from email, he would receive (from example@domainname.) your email.

He should have the option to “reply”.

that’s the only way I’m aware of (it does work).

    @suev05 (Sorry forage response)
You can, I believe, on some carriers. For example, instead of @vtext.com (Verizon) you would use @vzwpix.com and attach the appropriate file. I might investigate into this more and make a tutorial on it ;)

  10. TechTubeMedia says:

@dboken that is correct. If they do reply, you will get it in your inbox, and you can send them another message to reply back!

  11. dboken says:

sorry if this is a stupid question but can they reply back and will it show up in your inbox?

  12. TechTubeMedia says:

@J05U3B0DK1N Yea, I should have mentioned that, but I thought it may have been self-explanatory. :D

    Anyways, thanks again!!

Thnx man u Rock! But theres 1 thing u missed, you forgot to say the way we’re supposed to know what cell phone provider the other person has in order to text them. So basically you got to know what cell carrier the other has in order to text them. And you kind of but not to a full extent…hopefully youu see what I’m saying.=)

  14. TechTubeMedia says:

@MusicMan1714 that is correct, you need the area code. So what you typed there is correct. All you have to do now is just type the numbers without and characters in between when emailing.

  15. MusicMan1714 says:

do u need the area code too? and does the number need to have the – in between 3 digits (519) 478-5678?

    Thank you very much!

  17. TechTubeMedia says:

@eumdv14 sorry, I just found out that some phones have the option to email someone instead of texting them. So most likely, yes.

  18. TechTubeMedia says:

@eumdv14 You can reply to the email, which makes you wonder, if u have the right email, does it work?

the answer is probably does. But I have never tried it. If you want, try it yourself, or let the person email you, then you can reply at any time :D

  19. eumdv14 says:

could i text from my phone to someone’s email

  20. TechTubeMedia says:

interesting question, but im not sure as how that would work!

You may try it if you wish! (i will try it maybe next week!)

  21. suev05 says:

can u send attachments from email to phone as well?
