Hi All, To elaborate on my comments in the video about YouShop (NZ Post)
using the same US warehouse address as ShopMate (AU Post) they both utilise
the warehouse run by Singapore Post in Oregon. YouShop was launched in 2012
as a partnership with Singapore Post and ShopMate launched late 2014. On
the ShopMate site it actually states: “The ShopMate Website is a white
label service owned and controlled by Singapore Post Limited. Australia
Post has appointed Singapore Post Limited to perform the international
freight forwarding service as part of the Services provided to you”. vPost
(Singapore), YouShop and now ShopMate all go to the same US warehouse
address but the suite number identifiers start with SG for vPost, NZ for
YouShop and SM for ShopMate.

Hi All, (21/01/15) After following up with ShopMate again regarding the
missing parcel (delivered to the warehouse 18/12/2014). I have since been
informed they are unable to locate it. I have been asked to forward on
payment & merchant order details which I have. The matter will be escalated
to the Compensation Team. I will keep updating here & in the description
box on this matter.

Hi Tina, excellent review of the service. You answered a lot of my
questions about the service, unfortunately you experienced one of the
things I was worried about. I’ve joined up with ShopMate to try it out but
just haven’t been in the head space to read over all the conditions of the
service.
It is a lovely benefit with WannitUS that our packages can dribble in and
were not charged for the many deliveries other than the one consolidation
fee. Walmart, beauty.com & drugstore.com all ship the items in separate
little parcels. But MAC and UD send everything in the one package so I was
thinking of trying ShopMate with MAC, just waiting for the right items.
I used MyUS a few times and had no problems with them at all, I just moved
to WannitUS because of the personal customer service but I still get heaps
of messages on my MyUS videos complaining about how people got ripped off
and warning not to use their service but I think it comes down to knowing
the service and choosing the right items to ship for the most value.
I’m also interested to try the service that +tamaraj85 uses just to see the
difference. I just have to wait for the right product to come up.
At the moment I really really want those RT bold metal brushes but the ones
I want are already sold out at Ulta so even if I used WannitUS personal
shopper, they are not in stock.
Thanks for the great review ♥

Hey Tina thanks for making this video, it’s so helpful. I recently created
a ShopMate account but have been a bit apprehensive about using it, I’m
only interested in buying cosmetics from the US so I’m definitely going to
read your blog posts and reviews on the other services that you’ve touched
on here

Thank you for this review Tina, I think I will stick with ComGateway for my
USA shopping they have a shopper service. Its good to see Australia Post
getting on board with this idea.

heck wouldn’t it be cheaper to send it to a friend in the us and have them
ship it to you?

I’ve used hopshopgo a few times before and really happy with their service.
Only issue I encountered was you can’t order more than 8 items from MAC in
one order so if you want more you have to put through separate orders

I find wannitus a lot more expensive then myus. I don’t live anywhere near
a FedEx centre so I get charged a remote area fee where as myus offers a
number of different shipping options which I like. I’ve heard good things
about shopandbox. Going to check out what comgateway is like. Your other
viewers seem to be impressed by their services.

Hi All, Here are some details on the ShopMate service as well as my
experience with it. ShopMate is a relatively new service from Australia
Post to get a US postal address in order to shop from US merchants. Thanks
to Little Cherry Hill Jewellery for telling me about ShopMate! I also talk
a little about YouShop (NZ Post) as well as the mail forwarders WannitUS &
MyUS. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Hi, Tina Thanks so much for this review. Glad that you purchased toys
instead of the makeup to test out shopmate. And I also got your message.
thank you.
