Why DynDNS isn’t free anymore?

It depends on how you’ve set up your network. What is 123.124.125.126
connected to? If 123.124.125.126 is simply connected to your modem, you
need to set your modem to direct the traffic to 123.124.125.126. (Some
incoming traffic is blocked as a matter of security). You can do this using
‘port forwarding’ or by setting up a ‘DMZ’.

What I want to know is this: I live in Ottawa and let’s say I dont want my
email and browser to show that. Is there a way to configure things so that
people will think I’m in Montreal or Toronto?

Website is no longer free I bought the pro package from this site to hook
up my camera and it is not as easy to hook up as you think. There is no
number for support you have to fill out a work ticket to get help. Wasted
$25 trying to find a more user friendly site

There are some additional providers of DDNS services can also be used here
which have similar features at dnslookup.me/dynamic-dns/. Good luck!

You can try No-IP. They advertise a free dynamic dns service. I have not
used it in a long time, so I cannot guarantee they won’t try to up-sell you
or limit the free account. Take a look – I hope it helps. noip.com/free/

So you showed how to connect to a DVR on a network, which was very helpful,
but I am still baffled by how you connect to your home network to connect
to a camera on that network do I just point it to : (Example)
apexcctv.dyndns.org/123.124.125.126 (Considering that IP is the ip of my
camera inside my local network?)
