The video is not correct. You can log in as an admin and add as many as you
want easily: Add, edit, or remove email aliases
Watch the video (2:29)
Go to Admin > Users & groups.
On the Users page, do one of the following:
Select the check box next to a user, and then click the Manage email
aliases link to the right of the user’s name.
Select the check box next to the user, click Edit Edit, and then click the
Email addresses tab.
On the Email addresses tab, do one of the following:
To add an email alias, under Does this user need to receive email at
additional addresses, like sales@contoso.com?, click Yes. Type the email
alias, select the domain name for the address, and then click Add.
To edit an email alias, select the alias, and then click Edit. Edit the
alias, and then click Save.
To remove an email alias, select the alias, and click Delete . Click Yes to
confirm that you want to delete the alias.
When you are done, click Save.

i couldnt believe they made this so much harder with the new mail console.
formerly i could do all users without admin rights by logging in as an
admin. one step forward… two steps back

Thank you tye037. This is ridiculous. What if you need to create for
instance 25 users with 5 aliases each? Make every user an admin, then log
in to each and every one to create their aliases?

Yeah, even better way to do it is to login as the admin, then just remove
everything in the address bar and put in your server address. eg
*servername*dot*outlook*dot*com/ecp

If you log in as admin (dashboard screen) and then put in your server name
in the address bar h t t p s : / / *servername*dot*outlook*dot*com/ecp
this will then show you everyone’s account, you can find your server name
when viewing owa. lol hopefully that made sense =)
