for these and mosquito’s…i heard any easy trick is mix a spray water bottle with 2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar…spray yourself down and they wont bite…vinegar also eliminates odors..pour vinegar down a stinky sink..etc..or add a little to washing machine…works cuz i tried it……..cuz

We have them here in Erie, PA and they appear out on the water whenever there is a south wind and humidity…I don’t know the scientific name and I suspect there are many varieties with different environments.
