And do you imagine them doing a happy dance when they see your envelope? I do! LOL!

You are so adorable and so fun too. I had a little chuckle when you said about the post office admiring your mail as it goes through. I always decorate the outside of my cards with 3 butterflies and a little swirly tail and I have had the ladies at the post office comment on them a few times so I am sure they admire yours too. So many great questions and thanks so much Lindsay for answering them all. I am still here….he he

Wow! Thank you so much for all the great info! I didn’t even know there WAS a foliage report – that’s awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this for me – I really appreciate your help – thank you x

I found a fall foliage calender and the first week of October is peak in Maine but Boston turns later, not earlier, I think if you started in Bar Harbor Maine (gorgeous coastal town and right near Acadia state park, a must see!) the last week of September and worked your way down to Boston, Cape Cod and Martha’s Vinyard over the next couple weeks you will get an eyefull! Google New England foliage report for specific info;)

Thanks and yes I mean ink pads. It’s hard to remember which ones to turn upside down and which ones to leave upright.

Thank you hun! We haven’t set our agenda in stone yet. But areas we definitely want to see are Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Rhode Island and Nantucket – we want to cover as much as we can in a 3 week trip and we are only really in the research stage. I’m so excited though! Its an area I’ve longed to visit and I can’t believe I’m actually getting to do it. I understand I’m really asking you an impossible question about the leaves – but I won’t hold you to it ;) x

Hi Jos, I’ll answer this on Wednesday too! But what parts of New England were you looking to visit? Bar Harbor, Maine, Boston Mass? The leaves turn at different times, here in Maine the first week of October is prime leaf peeping season!

Is it true that if you store your stamps upside down that the ink will flow to the top and last longer.
