u can use 3g in one sim. u can select which sim should be 3g in settings-wireless and networks- mobile network

I tried turning on my mobile network but instead of 3G I get an Edge or GPRS connection sometimes HSDPA, but with that it is using my packet data. How do you access a 3G connection without losing all of your packet data?

if you like to make video call, u can make without subscribing 3G plan. reason,they offer normal GPRS with 3G plan fees only if you use video call
In main cities, i can still watch youtube videos faster and making online payments faster without any interruption. only thing is we might loose our 2GB usage sooner

If you are in India, you don’t need to subscribe for 3G data plan.
Most of network providers like Airtel & others now running 3G network signal as default for all 3G mobiles. You can subscribe for normal GPRS data plan ( 2GB free usage for just 99Rs per month ) & since your mobile support 3G network, you can enjoy 3G speed in main cities and if you go to remote areas, you will get 2G speed. that’s it. 70% of people doing this

Pardon me for excusing you on your adoring public but why does my network operator charge 3G data fees (The, Edge, Gprs and the HSDPA).. Just wanted to know how did you do that without having to be charged by the net operator

Its auto detection and if your mobile network support 3G in your location, your mobile detect automatically for 3G network without 3G charges.
