What a wonderful “talk”! It’s great to get a closer and more personal look at a string quartet and its players. The music was enjoyable and nicely chosen as well, too bad the Britten performance is cut, and maybe an even more modern, short piece would have been nice. Still, this was a fantastic and enlightening presentation, and I find the Alexander Quartet players both expertly skillful, charming and sympathetic. Thanks for sharing this!

In my personal and humble opinion, I am used to the superbly perfectionist performances of the virtuosi Alexander Quarter. I guess it is a combination of poor acoustics, poor audio recording, an undeserving setting, and a perhaps too-relaxed environment. It is not an recording that keeps me on the edge. I’m sorry to bring such harsh criticism to a group of incredibly talented and admired musicians.

Wonderful quartet and inspiring musicians - thanks to all!!! Suggestion for your video director/editor: it will help if you are able to read scores – then the camera will follow the leading musician/voice, which keeps on changing all the time. My compliments!
