You need to reset the phone so that you can add a new Google account to the phone. -Josh

just go to config/applications/search for gmail/clear data/then search google apps/clear data…. and you can log in with a diferent account

thanks that work!! i go to applications and tap gmail and clear data and then go to google apps and clear data and i can log in with my new account…. thanks!!

You could add a new one but you cannot remove the main Google account from the phone. Only with a Factory Data Reset this can be done. -Josh

POP3 and IMAP are different kinds of email providers, each stores your email differently. You’ll want to look up whether your email provider is either one. Hope this helps

Nevermind, I got it to work now. I deleted the gmail account and add it back to the email application and it’s working fine now.

I set up my gmail account in the email application and I am able to receive emails from that module but I’m unable to send emails, it just sit in my outbox and said that there’s a “connection error”. How do I get it to send emails as I want to use the email application to send and receive emails rather than the gmail application.
