This is a great step towards making your Tippmann A5 look like an MP5. It bolts easily onto your gun, replacing the front vertical grip, and does not interfere with your barrel at all! We show what it looks like on your gun as well as showing you how to install it. Great video, but seriously lacking in some installation parts that are harder. Also, makes no spot for a foregrip or alternative rails, so it’s a bit of a downgrade. Preference though, and cool looking.

@iLivenAmurica Nope, unfortunately, they’ve been discontinued by Tippmann

You cannot put it over the flatline.

It is not a flatline, it is the A5 XP5 SD Foregrip

so just to make sure, you CANNOT put this over the flatline barrel? The flatline barrel without the built in foregrip?

is this a flatline barrel?
HustlePaintball says:

No, but what you could do is buy an Apex barrel, which essentially does the same thing as a flatline barrel

To put the foregrip back on, you would have to dremel it a little bit.

could you get a long nut to put the forgrip back on? or can you just put it on?

The A5 is a terrific entry-level gun! Have you watched our review on the A5?

A lot of mags should fit, if they don’t I think only slight modification would be needed.

i’ve seen this shroud along with an M4 mag. . is it easy to have both these attachments on the A5 or would you have to cut one or the other down? any advice or answers. thanks

I know the mag compatible version works with the Lapco MP5 mag, but I am not sure about the Metadyne one, If they weren’t restructuring and I was able to get some Metadyne product on my hands I would check it out for you.

could you fit that with a metadyne mp5 A5 mag?

can this work with a flatline barrel on the gun?
HustlePaintball says:

It would take some dremel action, as well as another nut, this secures to the marker with the same nut as the original foregrip.
