To celebrate the publication of the Los Angeles issue of our quarterly magazine as well as the launch of our new local community, GOOD LA, GOOD threw a weekend of free events at Atwater Crossing, a new arts and innovation complex in Atwater Village. On Friday night, our design event Steal This Idea included eight designers presenting solutions to Los Angeles problems as proposed by eight urban leaders. The next day, our Pop-Up Community Center threw open its doors to one hundred partners and vendors from throughout the city, who held workshops, led tours, and gave presentations on how they’re moving LA forward. this video is awesome! some people say they miss the old ones, but most of those were to raise awareness through views, now that they have made those issues aware they are focusing on doing something about it. to see that you guys are so close to home and actually getting involved in the community is awesome!
