I LIKE THIS VIDEO LOVE SUSAN.

  2. Sparkysweet says:

Almanzo & Laura did have a son that they never named. He died after a couple of weeks. He is buried in the Ingalls family plot in De Smet as “Baby Wilder”. So sad. Rose had a son & he died as well. No one is sure if he was stillborn or a miscarriage or died shortly after birth.

Their corncob doll is not a very good replica of what the real one was like.

  4. TrekkieBear says:

    – No, they did have a baby son and he died in infancy. Laura writes about it in her book “The First Four Years.”

  5. tkegal says:

That was only for the Television series. The real Laura and Almonzo never had a son. Only their daughter Rose.

I absolutely love this stuff. These women took control of their lives and ran with it…

  7. Raemoth75 says:

Yes they did but he didn’t live very long. Rose had a child that died as well and she never had another. Laura and Almonzo had no other grandchildren their legacy ends with her.

  8. 90Lolland says:

Rose were not their only child! they totally forgot about their son?

Laura Ingalls Wilder and her daughter Rose Wilder Lane are so pretty. Almanzo James Wilder is a very nice looking man next to Laura.

I’m so excited to see this uploaded. Oh, I like the quilt similie. 1:00 The log cabin frame was built by the father of 1 of the staff members. 3:15 That Charlotte looks like 1 of the Mansfield replicas. 6:02 The china pattern is Rose Chintz. 9:36 There are several variations of it. The silverware is Crown pattern by Rogers Brothers. 7:32 Loved the vignettes from the books. 13:10 I’m going to be re-watching this! Love the mailbox.17:00 You can buy a reproduction of the signed Wm.’s drawing. 17:12
