DO you know if it is possible to copy or move email folders with emails from Hotmail to yahoo (so that I keep the folders with their corresponding emails). Or is this impossible? I have so many folders with emailsin hotmail, and what it is keeping me from moving to yahoo is the unability to do this. Thanks.

i tried to do the yahoo one, however the POP & forwarding section under mail options is not there, it no longer exists. is it somewhere else now, or is that just a glitch on my account?

The Yahoo forwarding was not free for us Canadians but I just checked and it is free now. Don’t know when that happened but this is quite a welcome change.

    TO FORWARD HOTMAIL TO GMAIL:

    1. Log in to your GMAIL account and go to Settings > Accounts and Import and click “add POP3 email account”.

    2. Type your Hotmail address and password. It will retrieve everything from your Hotmail.

Just note that it only checks the accounts every so often (it’s variable, depending on certain factors. Can be just a few minutes but it does check them regularly) but you won’t be getting the mail forwarded INSTANTLY, if that’s important to you.

Just did this to my yahoo account. For American users it is not free, as was shown in the video.

But just go into your account settings and change your location to Yahoo Asia. Then you can do as you describe below and it is free.
